Jeff Wagner


Jeff Wagner, Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Wagner is a founding partner of Wagner Service Solutions, Inc. and is currently serving as President and CEO. Jeff brings a wealth of business experience from the Fortune 500 corporate world which he transitioned into the entrepreneurial realm. He began his professional career with AT&T as a manager in the Communications Division before ultimately serving as Regional Sales Manager of the Consumer Electronics Division. While with AT&T, Jeff was twice named “Manager of the Year”, was an appointed member of the ”Leadership Continuity Program” as an identified future upper level manager, and received the coveted Lowe’s Companies “Supplier of the Year” Award.

After leaving AT&T, Jeff formed, grew, and sold a janitorial service company to regional service provider Sizemore, Inc., who appointed Jeff Vice-President. He served on Sizemore’s executive board for three years.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, holds a Mini-MBA certificate from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, and is a graduate of the University of Houston’s Executive Development Program. Jeff is married to the former Amanda Myhand with three children who are all active in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Arts Association, is a member of and serves as Chair of the Administrative Board and past-Chair of SPR for the First Methodist Church in Covington, and served on the Newton Education Foundation’s inaugural board.

Stacey Hutcheson

Stacy Hutcheson, Chief Operating Officer

After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1991, Stacy began his career as a Sales Representative for a transportation company. In 1992 he was promoted to Regional Manager and in 1993 was one of two employees selected out of 2,500 for the coveted Executive Development Program for future leadership.

In 1994 Stacy accepted an opportunity with a Southeast U.S. contract services company. Taking charge of a small operation, within one year he had quadrupled annual revenues and was earning significant profit. He was named Regional Manager in 1996, served as Chairman of the Safety Committee from 1997 to 2000, and in November of 2000 was promoted to VP and named to the Executive Board. The driver of his success was a focus on combining business verticals into a comprehensive service delivery platform and marketing it to diverse client groups.

In January 2004, Stacy and Jeff Wagner began discussing the feasibility of creating a company that would incorporate this service delivery platform as its defining principle. In April of that year Stacy began his tenure as Chief Operating Officer. By May 2004 Wagner Service Solutions was incorporated, and in August 2004 became a profitable entity. Today after more than a decade the company continues to produce substantial revenue growth and profitability.  Stacy’s leadership and vision underpins the enduring success of Wagner Service Solutions.  He remains attuned to the evolving needs of existing clients, actively supports the acquisition and development of new business, and facilitates the mission of the leadership team and their respective staffs.

Kim Carter

Kim Carter, MBA, Chief Financial Officer

Kim joined Wagner in 2013 bringing a diverse background in corporate finance, sales, and marketing, small business consulting, and government leadership. She has worked for multiple Fortune 100 companies, a commercial real estate developer, and a dot com startup. She also founded her own small business and served as Mayor of a medium-sized city.

Kim was born and raised in Covington, GA, where she graduated from Newton County Comprehensive High School in 1979. While earning her Bachelors and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Georgia State University, Kim embarked on a career spanning finance, marketing, and sales positions for Fortune 100 companies including Siemens, Bausch & Lomb, KitchenAid, and Snapple. She has also worked in small businesses with commercial real estate web commerce, and consulting. In 2005, Kim leveraged her broad experience to found BusinessWorks Solutions, Inc. as President and CEO, providing business consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses in Newton and Rockdale counties and the greater Metropolitan Atlanta region.

While her career took her throughout the Southeast and across the US, Kim never lost her connection to Covington. Returning there in 2005, she campaigned for and was elected Mayor in November 2007. During four-year term, Kim led the city of more than 15,000 people and an operating budget of $120-140M through a series of strategic planning and urban redevelopment initiatives that brought more than $18M in private investment to Covington.

Kim’s decision to take an ownership stake in Wagner was a logical extension of a career spent bringing parties together to leverage strengths and exploit opportunities to accelerate realizing business value.

“Ashley

Ashley Thompson, Vice President of Staffing

With over two decades of sales and management experience in the staffing industry, Ashley embodies the Wagner ethos of providing our clients an unshakable value proposition. She imparts exceptional leadership in all aspects of staffing fulfillment, including professional, light industrial, administrative and fee recruiting realms. During the past twenty years she has developed a wealth of knowledge in allied disciplines such as Human Resources, Risk Management, Payroll, Applicant Tracking Systems, National Account Sales, On Site Management, Operations Management and Worker’s Compensation.

Ashley drives the service delivery imperative for all Wagner locations, and leads the Staffing Team to offer a premium level of quality to Wagner’s many clients. Ashley and her team achieve this by developing a thorough profile of staffing needs and requirements for the client, providing evaluative measures to insure performance and productivity, and implementing innovative and cost-effective staffing solutions to meet the specific and evolving needs of each Wagner client.

Ashley is an active member of the Covington/Newton County Chamber of Commerce, and in her spare time volunteers as an instructor to teach job interview techniques to victims of domestic violence and the homeless. She is an annual participant in the Atlanta 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk.

“Julie”

Julie Edenfield, Vice President of Finance
& Administration

Julie Edenfield directs all human resource and accounting policy and services for Wagner Service Solutions Inc.

Julie joined Wagner in 2006 bringing close to fifteen years work experience administering payroll, benefits. Julie is well qualified to understand and meet the accounting and billing needs of Wagner’s clients by developing customized invoices and reports with an efficient turn time.

In the eight years that she has been on staff with Wagner, Julie has consistently proven herself to be both adaptable and the consummate team player. Her extensive knowledge of the company’s divisions is very much valued by the Wagner ownership team and its clients.

Julie and her team ensure that Wagner’s employees and clients needs are meet timely and efficiently. This allows the Sales and Recruiting team to be singularly focused on Wagner’s clients and putting people to work.

“Glen”

Glen Kilgore, Vice President Janitorial

Glen Kilgore joined Wagner Service Solutions Inc. in 2008 and was promoted to the Vice-President in 2014. With close to 30 years janitorial work experience Glen understands customer service, personalized attention and trust are the foundation to developing a strong client relationship.

Since becoming Vice-President, Glen has developed training protocols, conducted employee training programs and promoted an organizational structure to maintain a highly qualified staff in the janitorial division. In coordination with the sales team and the janitorial staff he creates a customized cleaning routine for clients that is both effective and systematic. Included in the service are regular quality control measures.

Glen’s professional cleaning experience has been with public schools, health sanitized facilities and major industrial facilities. He is experienced in VCT floor care, Mondo floor care, and carpet bonneting and extractions.

Glen noted, “From my first day with Wagner I experienced positive energy coming from the ownership group and management team. I knew this was a great opportunity to fit in with a great organization and help the company grow.” He has achieved this with an outstanding record of client retention and working with the sales team to develop new janitorial clients.

“Cassandra

Cassandra Jutan, Human Resources Manager

Cassandra Jutan, is the Human Resources Manager for Wagner Service Solutions, Inc. Cassandra is responsible for designing and implementing Wagner’s HR strategy to support long and short term business goals and manage the day-to day HR activities. This includes creating and implementing policies and procedures, compensation, benefits and wellness programs, develop performance appraisal and salary review programs, EEO Specialist, staff development, and manage the Workers Compensation claims.

With over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Cassandra has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including employee relations, policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, training and development, safety, and benefits administration.

Prior to joining Wagner, Cassandra’s work history included the position of Human Resources Administrator for Thermo Pac, a leader in portion control products processing, assembly, packaging and distribution. While in this role Cassandra implemented policies and procedures, reduced workers compensation injuries, reduced absenteeism and employee turnover to less than 1%. Cassandra brings to Wagner a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Human Resources field, with a proven successful track record.

Committed to community involvement, Cassandra actively serves at local women and children shelters. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and HR Professionals-USA Chapter.
